Sweet Potato Chips (yam)

These lovely sweet potato chips make a healthy alternative to potato chips

These sweet potato chips are a much healthier alternative to the white potato chip. Eat a baked sweet potato instead of a baked white potato, and your blood sugar will rise about 30 percent less!
Ingredients

500g sweet potatoes
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp olive oil for drizzling
1 tsp mixed herbs
1/2 tsp garam masala

Instructions

Peel the sweet potatoes
Cu into strips similar to chips and place into a large bowl
Drizzle with olive oil
Add the mixed herbs, salt, pepper and garam masala
Mix throroughly using your hands
Place on greased foil on a tray in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or until edges start to brown slightly
