Strawberry Lassi

Strawberry Lassi is a great refreshing summer cooler. Lassis are made with yoghurt, better known as smoothies. Yoghurt has numerous health beenfits; it is an execllent source of calcium and easier to digest than milk. Mango and sweet lassis are commonly found in most Indian restaturants but you’ll be lucky to find this little strawberry summer treat.

This cool creamy Strawberry Lassi is a delicious summer cooler with a delicate hint of rose. Made with low fat (or eve Probiotic) yogurt, this calcium packed drink is easier to digest than a milky drink.
Ingredients

400g strawberries roughly chopped
300mll low fat natural yogurt
30g golden caster sugar os sweetener (optional)
750ml ice cold water
a few drops of rosewater
coarsely ground black pepper (garnish)

Instructions

Blend strawberries with half the water until smooth
Add yogurt, sugar, remaining water and rosewater and blitz until smooth and frothy
Pour into glasses, sprinkle pepper and serve

Notes

I suggest trying omitting the sugar and if you find it not sweet enough, add sugar as required
