This delicious wholesome dish is a fabulous winter warmer. Made with lamb mince and creamy mash, this is a surefire hit with both family and dinner guests!

- Heat the oil
- Fry the onion with the salt, chillies, garlic and ginger paste until slightly brown
- Add the mince and stir fry on a high heat until the mince has turned from reddish pink to brownish colour
- Add all of the spices and cook on a high hear for a minute
- Add the tomatoes and turn down the heat
- Simmer for 30-40 minutes
- Add the pasta sauce and drained kidney beans
- Simmer for another 5 minutes
- Switch on oven on 200 degrees
- Place cooked mince in a ovenproof dish and spread out evenly with a spatula
- Season the mash potato with salt, pepper and a pinch of chilli powder and dried herbs
- Add the milk and butter and mash until smooth
- Spread over the mince and place in hot oven for 10-15 minutes until mash starts becoming golden brown
