These spicy sesame and cumin seed potato cubes are a great side dish to any main. So simple to make but full of flavour. I left the skins on to save time but they tasted so good, that I will always be doing that from now on!

The spicy sesame seed and cumin seed potato cubes are super quick to make. What’s so great about this recipe is that you can adapt this and spice it up to your liking!
Ingredients
500g potatoes washed and cut into 2cm cubes (leave skin on)
4 tbsp sunflower oil
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp coarse black pepper
1 tsp cumin (jeera) seeds
1 tsp sesame seeds
½ tsp paprika
2 tbsp lemon juice
A handful of chopped coriander to garnish
Instructions
Boil the potatoes for approximately 10 minutes until they are soft but still firm
Heat the oil in the pan and add cumin seeds and brown for a few seconds
Add the paprika, pepper, salt and sesame seeds and brown for one minute
Now add the potatoes and gently toss until evenly coated with the oil and spices
Finally, add the lemon juice and coriander and serve hot
Notes
Ensure the potatoes are cooked but firm to avoid a mash!
Any potatoes work, but red skin ones taste the best
Adjust the spices to your liking and omit chilli powder if you don’t like it hot
