These Nutella cupcakes are wonderfully simple but ever so moorish. Not only do the kids devour them, my husband and I find these dainty delights just delicious! They are so quick to make and bake and the oozing chocolate gives it just the right amount of sweetness without being too overpowering.

Nutella cupcakes are the only cupcakes I make and can proudly say that they come our perfect every single time! The gooey centre and light sponge are a match made in heaven.
180g self-raising flour
1 tsp. vanilla essence
2 large eggs (use 3 if you have small eggs)
100 ml skimmed milk
quarter cup Nutella spread (or peanut butter/any chocolate spread)
Mix all the ingredients together except the Nutella using an electric whisk
Pour into the cupcake liners upto 3/4 of the way up
Add 1/2 tsp of Nutella to the top of each cupcake
Using a toothpick, lightly swirl the Nutella into the tops of the cupcakes
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the white white part of the cupcakes comes out clean.
Remove from the baking tray and cool on a wire rack.
