Lemon Juice

1 tbsp
Corainder cumin powder

This deliciously rich and creamy chicken dish has been modified to omit all the unhealthy ingredients whilst retaining a fresh healthy creamy chicken dish with most amazing sauce!

  1. Heat 1 tbsp. olive oil in the pan and add the chicken until sealed and sides slightly browned
  2. Heat the remainder 1 tbsp. olive oil in another pan
  3. Add the garlic and ginger paste, salt, black pepper, half of the fresh coriander, paprika, red chilli powder, tandoori powder, coriander and cumin powder and fry on a high heat for 30 seconds
  4. Add the tomatoes and cook on a high heat for 2-3 minutes
  5. Now add the yogurt and simmer for 2-3 minutes
  6. Add the chicken, lemon juice and 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 20 minutes
  7. Switch off the heat and sprinkle with the remaining fresh coriander

    I have updated the recipe with this. It is added at the same time as the other spices to allow the aroma of the spices in the tandoori powder to be released.
